Abstract

History is the mirror of society. In the pages of history, we observe various reflections of society. For the building of an ideal society, we can understand the chronological sequences of historical events in different eras through The Holy Quran. Human social systems, their development, and the course of historical events are governed by certain divine laws. To ensure the proper functioning of this social system, the heavenly book—the Qur’an—has presented specific principles and guidelines. Social and historical events are not random occurrences. Every action has an underlying cause. The Qur’an is not a textbook; rather, it is a divine guidebook for humanity. It calls upon people to explore the world, understand the environment, study the society, and follow the right path for the welfare of mankind. The purpose of my research is to explore various fragments of historical events that contribute for building an ideal society—using the Holy Qur’an as a primary source of references.
